Disability Support Services

Students with documented disabilities are encouraged to inform the Director of Student Academic Services of their needs. Once that office has received and processed documentation, faculty and staff will be informed and will coordinate with students to make necessary accommodations, according to the students' needs. 

Technology Services (Help Desk)

The Technology Services offers technical support to VCSU-issued computers and software such as Blackboard, Microsoft Office, and Mac OSX. 

Technology Services does not offer support to course-specific software and/or apps such as Prezi, YouTube, or GoPro Quick: refer to course instructor for assistance. On the Technology Services website you can find operating hours, e-mail, phone number, and links to other resources.  


The Library offers research help in-person and online, as well as a wide range of materials to support student learning. On the library website, you can talk to the reference librarian, book a study room, find a book or article, and much more.

Learning Center

The Learning Center offers assistance in several academic areas, such as writing and math. The VCSU Learning Center is here to support YOU. We have quiet rooms for individual studying or group work, proctors for exams, tutors for individualized instruction face to face and/or online. On the Learning Center’s website, you can find contact information, hours, as well as additional resources. 

About Starfish 

We Care About Your Success! VCSU has partnered with Starfish Retention Solutions as part of a student success project. Throughout the term, you may receive emails from Starfish regarding your course grades or academic performance. Please pay attention to these emails and consider taking the recommended actions. They are sent to help you be successful! In addition, your instructor may: (1) request that you schedule an appointment by going to Starfish, or (2) recommend that you contact a specific campus resource, such as tutoring or counseling. 

VCSU Bookstore

The Bookstore's website can assist you in purchasing textbooks, course materials, and other great VCSU gifts and apparel. 

Student Affairs 

Student Affairs works collaboratively with Academic Affairs to provide the necessary student support and educational experiences to enhance student learning. Consumer Information 

The Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, requires numerous reports and disclosures from various areas of higher education institutes. This document provides a brief summary of the various documents and information, including complaint compliance, that Valley City State University makes available to the public.

Financial Aid

The Financial Aid office provides information regarding tuition, housing, and other fees. In addition, you can find information on FAFSA, Loans, and scholarships.

Registrar’s Office
