Connecting to Classroom AV - Screen Mirroring (Airplay) to Apple TV
Projecting/Displaying in the Classrooms via Screen Mirroring (Airplay)
- Turn on the projector/TV. Verify that your display is on the right for that room (Computer or HDMI) as seen on the bottom left-hand corner or top right-hand corner.
- Verify that the Apple TV screensaver is on display.
If not check the following:

- Is the projector/TV on the right input?
- Are you connected to a Laptop? If so, please unplug the cable.
- Is the Document Camera turned on? If so, press the INT/EXT button or turn it off.
On MacBook

Verify that your Bluetooth radio is turned on.
- Click on the Apple Icon>System Preferences.
- Click on the Bluetooth Icon and verify that it’s turned on.
- Click on the Control Center icon on the menu bar.
- Select the room you want to display to.
- Enter in the 4-digit code and press Enter/Return.
On iPad or iPhone
- Pulldown on the top right-hand corner.
- Verify that the Bluetooth icon is blue. If it’s not, touch the icon.
- Touch the Screen Mirroring
- Select the room you want to Airplay to.
- Enter in the 4-digit code and press Enter/Return.
Sound System
Once connected you can control the volume by the physical key on the MacBook, iPad, or iPhone.
Disconnecting from Airplay
On MacBook
- Click on the Airplay icon on the menu bar.
- Select Turn Airplay Off.
or
- Close the lid.
On iPad or iPhone
- Pulldown on the top right-hand corner.
- Touch the Screen Mirroring button, which is now labeled the room you are connected to.
- Select Stop Mirroring.
