ENHANCED CUSTODIAL SERVICES

 

The various custodial enhancements listed below reflect current campus operations, and will continue to be reviewed and revised, as needed.

Space

Day & Night Shift Services

Classrooms

Enhanced services include:

  • Sweep and pull trash
  • Sanitize all hard surfaces (desktops, desk chairs, podium, light switches, doorknobs).
  • Use of new electrostatic equipment/disinfectant

Frequency:

  • At least once per day; additional time dependent upon room schedules

 

Conference Rooms and Auditoriums

Enhancements dependent on space use determinations

Elevators

Enhanced services include:

  • Sanitize and disinfect high touch point surfaces (lobby call buttons on all floors, and inside elevator cars includes call buttons and handrails)
  • Sweep, mop, and disinfect elevator car floors
  • Wipe down all car walls and call buttons

Frequency:

  • A minimum of two times per shift and with greater frequency access permitting.

Enhanced services include:

  • Use of new electrostatic equipment/disinfectant

Frequency:

  • At least once per day

Interior/Exterior Stairs

Enhanced services include:

  • Sanitize and disinfect high touch point surfaces (entrance door handles, doorknobs, handrails, stair rails)

Frequency:

  • A minimum of two times per shift and with greater frequency access permitting.

Enhanced services include:

  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop 

Frequency:

  • Bi-Weekly

Enhanced services include:

  • Use of new electrostatic equipment/disinfectant

Frequency:

  • At least once per day

 

 

Kitchens and Dining Area

 

Enhancements dependent on space use determinations

Lab Areas

Enhanced services include:

  • Sweep and pull trash
  • Sanitize all hard surfaces (desktops, desk chairs, podium, light switches, doorknobs).
  • Use of new electrostatic equipment/disinfectant

Frequency:

  • At least once per day; additional time dependent upon room schedules

*Coordinate with lab manager/instructors on when/if feasible to increase frequency of sweep/mop/disinfect lab floors

 

Lobbies, Entrances, and Public Spaces

Enhanced services include:

  • Sanitize and disinfect high touch point surfaces (entrance door handles, doorknobs, handrails, stair rails; counter tops of security desk/reception desks)
  • Trash removal as needed
  • sweep as needed, at least weekly
  • Mop and disinfect, at least weekly 

Frequency:

  • A minimum of two times per shift and with greater frequency access permitting.

Enhanced services include:

  • Use of new electrostatic equipment/disinfectant

Frequency:

  • At least once per day

Office and Administrative Areas

Enhanced services include:

  • Sanitize and disinfect high touch point surfaces (entrance door handles, door knobs, counter tops of reception desks)
  • Trash removal as needed
  • Sweep as needed 

Frequency:

  • Two times per shift

 

Enhanced services include:

  • Perform spray disinfectant services of office suites

Frequency:

  • Bi-Weekly

Restrooms and Showers

Enhanced services include:

  • Sanitize and disinfect high-touch point surfaces (entrance door handles, doorknobs, counter tops, light switches)
  • Clean and disinfect facilities 

Frequency:

  • Two times per shift

Enhanced services include:

  • Use of new electrostatic equipment/disinfectant

Frequency:

  • At least once per day 

Student/Employee Lounge and Snack Areas

Enhancements dependent on space use determinations

Enhanced services include:

  • Use of new electrostatic equipment/disinfectant

Frequency:

At least once per day
