Safe Zone Trainings and Resources
What is Safe Zone Training
The Safe Zone Project is an open source LGBTQ+ awareness training curriculum created in the early 2013 by Meg Bolger and Sam Killermann. They shared their work under an "uncopyright" license to allow use by a wide variety of groups without cost and for adaptation. The last update to the Safe Zone Project curriculum was in 2020. VCSU's Safe Zone training is built on the foundations of this curriculum with modifications and updates to keep up with the latest terminology.
Safe Zone trainings can be offered for students or employees.
