Al Golden Scholarship_Deadline 6/1/2025
The North Dakota Petroleum Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Al Golden Scholarship. This year we will be giving out 10 scholarships of $2,000 to students pursuing an energy-related degree. The deadline to apply for the scholarships is June 1, 2025. The Al Golden Scholarship is open to full-time students who have a 3.0 GPA or higher and are pursuing a post-secondary education in geology, engineering, science, processing plant technology, and other technical skills or trades related to energy development or processing. Applicants must also have completed ONE of the following: At least 6 months of work and/or internship experience in the oil and gas industry. Completed at least 12 hours in geology, earth science, geological/petroleum engineering, chemistry, math, or safety. American Indian Services Scholarship
AMERICAN INDIAN SERVICES Application is available at Scholarships | American Indian Services The AIS Scholarship program is to help undergraduate Native American students with financial support to attend college, maintain enrollment, and graduate. Scholarship Awards are based on up to one-half of tuition and need for the term the student is applying for and are allocated directly to the school for the student. Students will need to have their own email account in order to apply. Requirements / Eligibility Criteria: Enrolled or will enroll as a matriculated student in a university, college, junior college, or technical school located in the United States (incoming freshman accepted). Must be enrolled or will enroll with an accredited school (VCSU is an accredited school). An enrolled member of a U.S. Federally Recognized American Indian or Alaska Native Tribe. Undergraduate student with no more than 150-semester credits or 210 quarter credits (First bachelor’s degree only, graduate studies NOT currently eligible). Full-time or part-time status – excluding non-credit courses (minimum of 6 credits). Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 must be established and maintained after the first semester/quarter of college. Completed Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Deadlines (Be sure to apply for the deadline that corresponds with your school's academic calendar) Spring/Summer | Enrollment Opens: January 1 | Deadline: February 1 If your term starts in April or May, you would apply for Award I. Summer | Enrollment Opens: March 1 | Deadline: April 1 If your term starts in June or July, you would apply for Award II. Fall/Academic Year | Enrollment Opens: May 1 | Deadline: July 1 If your term starts in August, September, October, or November you would apply for Award III. Spring/Winter | Enrollment Opens: September 1 | Deadline: November 1 If your term starts in December, January, February, or March you would apply for Award IV.

Helen Bergstrom Ernst Scholarship: Apps Due 9/26
Deadline is Friday, September 26, 2025. *Application is attached below. The Helen Bergstrom Ernst Scholarship Trust was established by the Will of Helen Bergstrom Ernst to further the education of students who are members of The Spirit Lake Tribe. Helen was born and raised in St. Paul, MN but became fascinated with the Lake Region when her brother Arthur Bergstrom moved to Devils Lake, ND in 1919 and founded Lake Chevrolet in 1923. When Helen came to visit her brother, she developed a deep and abiding love for the people of the Lake Region and especially for the members of the Spirit Lake Tribe. She ad mired the spirit of the people. As a result of her love, this scholarship trust was established. Requirements: Enrollment in an accredited post-secondary institution. A Member of the Spirit Lake Tribe. Full-time enrollment of 12 or more credits each term Term and cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Additional Information: Applications are due on or before the last Friday of September each year. Incomplete applications will not be considered. One-half of the award will be paid in the Fall semester. Proof of full-time enrollment and a term and cumulative grade point of 2.0 is required before Spring portion is paid.

ND Dual-Credit Tuition Scholarship
Are You Eligible to Apply? You must have: Graduated from a high school in this state, or a high school in a bordering state covered under state law (N.D.C.C. 15.1-29), or Graduated from a nonpublic high school in a bordering state while residing with a custodial parent in this state, or Completed a program of home education under N.D.C.C. 15.1-23, and Completed at least one dual-credit course provided by a NDUS institution while enrolled in high school or a program of home education, and Be currently enrolled at an institution of higher education in ND, and Have completed at least one semester, quarter, or term at an institution of higher education in the state. Application Process If you meet the eligibility criteria noted above, log into the Dual-Credit Tuition Scholarship website and follow the steps. Website: https://tiny.ndus.edu/dualcrschol You must know your NDUS User ID & Password to start the application. You will be required to attach all required supporting documents to the application. What are supporting documents? Copy of final high school or home school transcript listing the dual-credit course(s) completed. Copy of the charges incurred for the dual-credit course(s) completed. Copy of current college transcript showing completion of at least one semester, quarter, or term of post-secondary enrollment. How much is the scholarship? Lifetime maximum is $750. May not exceed 50% of the cost of the dual-credit course(s). May not exceed tuition & fees for the semester, quarter, or term the scholarship applies. Where can I use the scholarship? The scholarship may be used for post-secondary enrollment at a ND state public, private, tribal, or proprietary institution. When will I receive the scholarship? Generally, after you are awarded by NDUS, disbursements will be made in the next semester, quarter, or term you are enrolled at a qualifying ND institution. Lariat Future Innovators Foundation STEM Scholarship - Deadline 6/15/2025
The Lariat STEM Scholarship is designed to empower students aged 18 to 24 who are pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math. The financial assistance provided to award recipients is ongoing and substantial: $6,000 $6,000 $8,000 $10,000 as a Freshman as a Sophomore as a Junior as a Senior Eligibility hinges on the student's background and academic prowess, and includes the following criteria: Be aged 18 to 24 pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math. Hail from a small town with a population of 25,000 or less. Have a family household income of $55,000 or less. Be a highly motivated individual with a track record of excelling in projects or winning science/math awards. Have strong performance in math and science (3.5 GPA or above, AP courses). Sallie Mae Bridging the Dream Scholarship - DEADLINE 4/25/25
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and The Sallie Mae Fund are proud to offer financial assistance to forty (40) current outstanding high school seniors who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two or four year college, university, or continuous education program. Scholars who are selected will receive a scholarship up to $10,000 for the 2025-2026 academic school year. The total eligible scholarship amount will be allocated in two installments: one during the Fall 2025 semester and the second during the Spring 2026 semester (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).
