The North Dakota State Board of Higher Education encourages its employees to pursue a program of continuing education. To qualify for this benefit, the employee and their courses must meet the criteria outlined in SBHE Policy 820.

Spouse/Dependent Tuition Assistance

The North Dakota State Board of Higher Education allows campuses to adopt tuition waivers which are consistent with an institution's mission. To qualify for this benefit, the employee, dependents, and their courses must meet the criteria outlined in SBHE Policy 820 and VCSU Policy V820.01 Tuition Discount – Spouse and Dependents.

Verification of Spouse/Dependent is required to be on file to process a tuition discount. Please submit your verification to the Office of Human Resources (McFarland 211) with your first spouse/dependent form. Acceptable documents include the following:

Copy of Birth Certificate
Copy of Marriage License
