Using PRINT_RELEASE queue via PaperCut Online Print Services

Windows and MacOS instructions to release jobs held in PRINT_RELEASE printer queue

Note: To use the PRINT_RELEASE printer, you will need to download two drivers named PRINT_RELEASE_BW for Black & White and PRINT_RELEASE_COLOR for Color Prints.

When printing documents, you will need to select the PRINT_RELEASE_BW if printing Black & White or PRINT_RELEASE_COLOR if printing Color

The "PRINT_RELEASE" queue is used for storing print jobs that may be printed later.

Print release functionality is only available with certain printers. Please see list below:

- FacSvcs-Offc-MFP
- FldHse-Cpr
- FMC-Walkup-Cpr
- Lib1st-Cpr
- McF3rdEast-Cpr
- Rhds2nd-Cpr
- Rhds2ndNorth-MFP
- StuCntr1st-Cpr
- Vang2nd-Cpr
  
  Note: Printer names are designated by location-device-colortype.
  - Location is based off the location of the printer on Campus
  - Device has Cpr for Copier, Ptr for Printer, Mfp for Multifunction Printer
  - Colortype has BW for Black & White or Clr for Color
Jobs are released by accessing the VCSU PaperCut Print Services page and entering your VCSU credentials (username@vcsu.edu).

Select "Jobs Pending Release" on left menu.

You can Release All or Cancel if desired.

To print a specific job, find the print job listed and select "Print" on right side.

Select specific printer you are near.

Click "Refresh Now" or verify job has been printed.
