Campus Connection Login Information Campus Connection Website: https://studentadmin.connectnd.us/ User ID: Your dotted ID, for example First.LastName (do not add @vcsu.edu or @ndus.edu) Password: Something you created and it is the same as Blackboard and VCSU email passwords What You Need Click or tap on what you need to view more information—links will open in a new tab. Change my legal name. Change my out of state tuition rate to ND Resident rate if I've lived here for at least 1 year. Change my preferred name, contact information, emergency contact. Change to being an online or on campus student. Change/declare/drop a major, minor or certificate. Contact the Office of Financial Aid. Drop a class. Get an enrollment verification. Get an official VCSU transcript. Get an unofficial VCSU transcript. Give someone legal access to my academic and/or financial records. Look at my graduation requirements. Pay any VCSU bills. Petition to add a class after the last day to add a class. Petition to drop a class after the last day to drop with a record (W) from a class. Register for classes. Request to be added to a class I have not met the corequisite or prerequisite requirement for. Request to be added to a class that conflicts with the time I have another class. Request to be added to a class that is full. Request to take an overload of credits for a semester. See what classes are offered. See what the last day to add and drop classes each semester is. To access your VCSU Email (Microsoft Outlook), VCSU Blackboard (Learning Management System), and other VCSU online resources, please follow this guide. Getting Started To access any VCSU or NDUS (North Dakota University System) services, you must first claim your NDUS account. If you haven’t done this yet, please click here for instructions on how to claim your account. Account Information Your username and password are private and must not be shared with others. Sharing login information is a violation of VCSU and NDUS Computing Policies. Username: first.lastname (e.g. North.Dakota) Email address when signing in via Microsoft Outlook, your username should be first.lastname@ndus.edu, as all accounts are managed under NDUS (North Dakota University System). Password: Same as the NDUS/Campus Connection password you created. If you don’t know your password, please click here to reset it. DUO / Multi-Factor Authentication DUO authentication is required for students and employees to access certain online services. • If you need help, click here for DUO setup and activation guides. Viking Mobile ID
Checklist before setting up your Viking Mobile ID: NDUS username (first.lastname@ndus.edu) and password. Make sure you know your NDUS account info. This is critical as this is what you'll use to sign in. If you have not yet claimed your account, follow the steps here: How to claim your NDUS account. Install mobile applications to your mobile phone: DUO Mobile - How to install DUO Mobile Haven't set up DUO Mobile yet? No worries, we've got you covered! Click or tap the link below according to your device to begin setting up your DUO: DUO Mobile enrollment for Apple (iPhone) devices DUO Mobile enrollment for Android devices Transact eAccounts - for Android devices, for Apple devices For Android devices only, additional apps to install are the following: Samsung Pay (built-in app for newer Samsung devices) Google Pay (if you don't have Samsung Pay or don't want to use Samsung Pay) Prepare your photo for online submission (only prepare when you opt to send your own photo and not have your photo taken in the Student Center). See guidelines and how to's here: Transact eAccounts Online Photo Submission. Reminder for Android devices: Make sure you have NFC in your settings. If it's not showing, your device is not compatible for mobile ID and will need to get a physical Viking ID. Follow these steps to set up your Viking Mobile ID: Open Transact eAccount app. Tap Get Started. Search for "Valley City State University". Tap "VCSU Active Directory". Sign in using your NDUS username and password. Authenticate using DUO mobile. Please note: The following steps assume you already have a photo in your account. If not, please refer to the instructions on How to submit online photo in Transact eAccounts. If you have a photo in your account, proceed as follows: In the Transact eAccounts app, tap Add to Wallet next to your name (choose Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet based on your device). Follow the prompts, tap Next, agree to Terms and Conditions, then tap Next. Once completed, verify by checking your Wallet (Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet) for your Viking Mobile ID.
