Setting up the VCSU wireless network on your Android phone involves specific steps tailored to each device. These general instructions serve as a guide for the setup process:


  1. Choose the VCSU network.

  2. Under EAP Method, choose PEAP.

  3. Under Select Certificate, choose Don't validate.

    For Android 12 users: Under Select Certificate, select Use Interface Systems > Don't Install > Don't Validate. 
    Then, enter vcsu.edu as the Domain. It may take some time for the phone to set up the WiFi.

  4. Identity: firstname.lastname
  5. Password: NDUS password
  6. Tap 'Connect' when done. 


You're all set! Your connection should now be established.

Additional Notes:


Depending on your Android device and OS version, you might need to enter your credentials differently or provide additional settings. For example:

  • Identity: You might need to use firstname.lastname@ndus.edu for your identity.
  • Phase 2 Authentication: Select MSCHAPV2.
  • Anonymous field: Leave this blank initially. If you're unable to connect after entering all the above information, try using firstname.lastname.


On certain Android devices, disabling the Randomized MAC Address may be necessary for successful connection.
