Your Diploma
Valley City State University includes the following information on diplomas:

  • Your name
  • The degree
  • The confer date

The diploma is printed on 8" x 10" paper. Your diploma does not indicate your major or minor. These credentials are recorded on your official transcript. Official transcripts may be ordered directly from Parchment.

Unofficial transcripts can be obtained in Campus Connection by following these steps.

Diploma Address

It is up to you to make sure your diploma is mailed to the correct address. Your diploma will be mailed to the address that you listed on your application for graduation. If you need to change or confirm this address, please email
registrar@vcsu.edu.

Mailing Timeline
Diplomas for associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees will be mailed 6-8 weeks after the end of term.

Please note that the process for awarding degrees begins after the grades are posted and not all degrees are awarded at once.

Damaged Diploma

If your diploma arrives damaged, take a photo that shows the damage and email it to diplomaprints@parchment.com. In the email include the Document ID number. If you are unable to locate the Document ID number, then please include your first name and last name in an email and let them know you graduated from Valley City State University. Once Parchment receives your email and photo, they will issue a replacement diploma.

Digital Diploma

Approximately 1 month after graduation you will receive an email with the subject line Your VCSU Diploma, which gives you access to download a digital copy of your diploma. Instructions on how to download your digital diploma are outlined in the PDF guide below.
