How to check PaperCut print jobs and their cost

Description:

This solution document provides instructions on how to check print jobs sent to PaperCut using either Web Print or Direct Print.


Instructions:

  1. Go to the PaperCut WebPrint Portal: https://papercut.vcsu.edu:9192/user and Log-in
  2. Once logged-in, look for Recent Print Jobs on the Left Pane and click it.
  3. The print jobs that was printed successfully will be shown on the center screen in table format.



Additional information:


If you are trying to locate a specific print job on a specific date range or to a specific printer, etc., you may use the Filter button and add filters to narrow your search.

           


You can also click the buttons above the data to sort (ascending - descending)





Date shows when the document was printed.


Charged to represents the user or department that was charged for printing.


Printer designates which printer the print went to.


Pages indicate the number of pages printed.


Cost indicate the total price the user or department is charged.


The document name shows the file name and file type of the print job.


Attributes show the paper type, duplex mode, grayscale, and the computer is what printed from.


Status indicates whether the print was successful, document is still pending or has encountered an error.
