Degree, Major, Minor, Certificate, or Advisor Change
Degree, Major, Minor, Certificate, or Advisor Change Undergraduate and graduate students who plan to change, add or delete a declared degree, major, minor, certificate, or advisor will complete a Program Advisor Change eForm in Campus Connection. Students who are changing from being on campus to online or from online to on campus will also complete a Program Advisor Change eForm. 1.) Log into Campus Connection 2.) Click on the VCSU eForms tile 3.) On the left side, click Records Office 4.) On the left side, click Program Advisor Change Form 5.) When the form populates complete the program and advisor sections 6.) Click the Acknowledgment toggle switch so it changes from No to Yes 7.) Click the Submit button Advisors are assigned based on a student's declared academic program. A new advisor will be automatically assigned when a major is changed. A request for advisor change must meet department guidelines and may require department chair approval. Once the form is submitted, it comes to the Office of the Registrar to process. You will be notified via email once the request has been processed.

Catalog Year Requirement Change Form Undergraduate students may elect to graduate under the requirements of the catalog in effect when the student originally enrolled at the University provided the time lapse is less than seven years. Students who change an academic program will follow the requirements of the catalog in effect when the student submits the Major, Minor, Certificate, or Advisor Change Form. Students who leave the University and then return will follow the requirements of the catalog in effect when the student submits the Returning Student Form. This form will be completed by students who plan to follow the requirements of another catalog in effect during their enrollment. Bachelor of Arts Approval Form
For a Bachelor of Arts degree, students must complete 16 semester credits of language and cultural studies from the following subject areas: American sign language, art, English, history, music, Spanish, and theatre. Courses used for this requirement may not be double counted and may not include credits for portfolio/capstone or internships. This form will be completed by students who have completed the cultural studies block and are seeking department approval to declare a Bachelor of Arts degree. View My Academic Requirements Report
1. Log into Campus Connection. 2. Click on the Academic Progress tile. 3. Click on My Academic Requirements. 4. Courses will be marked with the corresponding Taken, In Progress and Planned icons throughout the report 5.) "Satisfied" and an arrow pointing to the right indicates that a required area is satisfied. 6.) "Not Satisfied" and an arrow pointing down indicates that a required area is not satisfied. 7.) On the academic requirement report you may see courses titled TRNSFR 100-400, TRNSFR HUMLIT, MUS 100ELECT, etc. These are courses that transferred from another school that VCSU did not have an equivalent course for, but credit was still given. To find out what those courses' prefixes, numbers and titles were at the original institution, you must run your Unofficial w/ Transfer Details transcript in Campus Connection. There is a separate article that shows students how to View/Print Unofficial Transcript. 8.) If a Course Substitution is fulfilling a requirement, a blue number will appear in the Notes column. To see what the course substitution is, click on that blue number. A description of the course substitution will display. 9.)
