Using Skoal and Cafeteria Sound Systems
All projection and sound cables can be checked out at the Information Desk at the Student Center 1. Very Important, please make sure the Amp is turned on (green light) for the room you want audio. The Amp is in the storage room between the Skoal and the Cafeteria rooms. Each amp is labeled for the rooms they power. 2. Before connecting the device to the projection and audio system, rotate the Biamp white dial to the sound input device you need and press the center button to verify level settings. Press the center button to select and to go back to the previous menu. Skoal Room Mic 1 – 80 Mic 2 – 80 Wireless Mic – 80 Projector – 80 ********************** Skoal Zone 1 Mute Skoal Zone 2 Mute ********************** Phone to Cafeteria >Phone to Skoal Room ********************** Cafeteria Mic 1 – 90 Mic 2 – 90 Wireless Mic – 90 HDMI – 80 PC – RCA jacks – 100 ********************** 3. If the projector is needed, turn on the projector and verify (with the projector remote) the volume is set at 10. Skoal Room & Cafetria HDMI connectivity is available in these locations. To control the volume, you can use the projectors remote or the laptops volume keys (PC only). Cafeteria VGA is also available in this location and if you want sound to the room speakers: a. Connect a male to male headphone cable and plug into the headphone jack on your device and wall plate. 4. For a corded microphone, connect the end of the microphone cable into the Mic 1 or Mic 2 wall port located near sound equipment 5. For the wireless microphone, turn on the microphone by pressing and holding the red button on the bottom of the microphone. Verify that the wireless receiver has unmuted. The "MUTE" will disappear if the wireless microphone is connected. 6. You shouldn't need to adjust any of the preset on the Biamp controller. If you do, please reset the levels back to their original settings after uses with the stated above levels to avoid undesirable sound levels. How to project in CFA Concert Hall
Plug in your laptop with the USB-C (green tagged cable). Select the Presentation or Rehearsal with Video on the home screen. The screen should lower and the projector turns on. If not, skip down to Video Control. If the touchscreen is black or displays "Offline", call Will Blunck @ 845-7347. From this screen, you can Unmute and adjust volume levels for Media or Mic Video Control - to change media sources and projector and screen controls Recording Control - start capturing audio or video in the hall Recording Mics - Change the ceiling mic heights Playback Control - Operate the Blu-Ray player located in the booth Camera Control - Control the PTZ Activity Selection - Go back to the Selection Page System Shutdown - Turns off projector and raises the screen Here in the Video Screen, you change your video source from one of the following: Lectern Apple TV (Airplay) Video Recorder (saved recording from rack) Blu-Ray Also, on this screen, you can turn on or off the projector. As well as raising and lowering the screen. Pressing the Red Box with the letter X will bring your back to the Presentation with Video screen.

Connecting to Chromecast from PC or Mac Laptop
Cast Desktop or Chromcast-enabled sites 1. Connect to the “Apple TV” wireless network - If you need credentials, contact Network Services 2. Open Chrome 3. Click on the button or the More iconin the top right and select Cast. 4. Click on Sources and select Cast Desktop - If no Chromecast is available, please click Connecting to Chromecast from PC or Mac. 5. Select the available Chromecast you want to cast to 6. Select the Screen you want to share and click on “Share” - If you want audio, verify that “Share audio” is selected Stop Casting 1. Open the Chrome browser and click on button to the left of the More icon 2. Click on the stop icon Add Cast button to Chrome toolbar 1. Repeat casting steps 1-6 above 2. In the Chrome Browser, right click on the button to the left of the More icon and select “Always show icon”

Chrome not listing any available Chromecast
1. Verity that the Chromecast is power on. 2. Verify that you have the correct input selected on the TV. 3. Verify you are connected to the "Apple TV' network - If you need credentials, contact Network Services. 4. Open Chrome browser on your laptop 5. In the address bar, type About://chrome - If Chrome is not up to date, please update it. 6. In the address bar, type Chrome://flags/ 7. Search for the flag " Connect to Cast Devices on all Ip Addresses" 8. Change from "Default" or "Disabled" to "Enabled" 9. Restart Chrome
