Change Password
How to change your NDUS/VCSU password? Open your web browser and go to: https://ndus.rightanswers.com/portal/ss/ Click Change my Password. NDUS Login page will appear. Enter your User ID and Password Not sure of your User ID? See Forgot my User ID Click Sign in 5. Click the Change Password icon. 6. Enter your name password and submit. NOTE: If you are unable to get your password changed, you may be required to contact the NDUS Help Desk at 1-701-792-6795. Forgot your NDUS/VCSU password? Open your web browser and go to: https://ndus.rightanswers.com/portal/ss/ Click Forgot My Password. 3. Enter your user ID or username. Not sure of your User ID? See Forgot my User ID 4. Click the Search button. 5. Choose one of the options to reset your password. Either receive an Email Verification or Mobile Device Verification. 6.1. Email Verification: If the trusted email address hint is correct, click Continue. Security code will be sent to the email address. Note: If you did not receive any emails re: Forgot Password Verification, check your other folders including SPAM folder. This is what the security verification email should look like: Click the secured link then proceed to the next steps. 6.2. Mobile Device Verification: You should have Google Authentication enrolled to your personal email. If not, proceed with Email Verification method. If you have Google Authentication set up, click Mobile Device Verification. Enter the code showing on your Google Authentication app. Then click Check Code. 7. Once any of the verification has been accepted, you should be able to reset your password. Follow the password guidelines shown or what you see in the password reset page to avoid getting errors. 8. Once done, click Change Password. Note: If you are unable to get your password changed, you may be required to call or create a ticket at https://helpdesk.ndus.edu.

Claiming your NDUS account
As a new student, employee or staff, you will need to claim your NDUS account prior to logging into VCSU services. Open your web browser and go to: https://ndus.rightanswers.com/portal/ss/ Click on Claim my Account on the top left hand side of the NDUS Main Account Screen. NDUS Main Account Screen You will be redirected to a Welcome video from the Chancellor. Watch the video, and click Claim your NDUS Account at the bottom left of the video. Click Continue The screen will display your University System username (typically in the firstname.lastname format). You should use this when you log in to Campus Solutions, VCSU Services and other University System services. EMPLID Activation Popup Window Click Continue Enter and confirm a new password Password is case sensitive. Must be at least 14 characters long. Must be no more than 32 characters long. Must not include any of the following values: password test & * , < > Must not include part of your name or user name. Should not include a common word or commonly used sequence of characters. Can be changed no more often then once every 1 day. New password may not have been used previously. Click change password Enter an alternative email address for recovery Click Save Note: If you need more help, you may be required to call or create a ticket at https://helpdesk.ndus.edu.

Duo Enrollment - iPhone/IOS
DUO enrollment for Apple (iOS) devices. Make sure you have installed Duo Mobile on your iPhone before you begin and make sure you allow push notifications and access to the camera. If you haven't installed DUO Mobile yet, click or tap here to view the instructions: Installing the Duo App on a Mobile Device. 1. Start by going to https://2fa.ndus.edu and login using your NDUS/VCSU username and password. 2. Below are the screens you will see during the enrollment process. Click on Start setup to begin. 3. Select the Mobile phone radio button and click Continue. 4. Enter your cell phone number, check the box to assure it is correct and click Continue. 5. Click on the iPhone radio button and click Continue. 6. Make sure you have installed Duo Mobile on your iPhone as instructed then click on I have Duo Mobile installed. 7. When installing Duo Mobile, make sure you allow push notifications and access to the camera. Then scan the QR code with your phone which will complete enrollment. Make sure you have installed Duo Mobile on your Android before you begin and make sure you allow push notifications and access to the camera. 1. Start by going to https://2fa.ndus.edu and login using your NDUS/VCSU username and password. 2. Below are the screens you will see during the enrollment process. Click on Start setup to begin. 3. Select the Mobile phone radio button and click Continue. 4. Enter your cell phone number, check the box to assure it is correct and click Continue. 5. Click on the Android radio button and click Continue. 6. Make sure you have installed Duo Mobile on your Android as instructed then click on I have Duo Mobile installed. 7. When installing Duo Mobile, make sure you allow push notifications and access to the camera. Then scan the QR code with your phone which will complete enrollment.

Duo Enrollment - Regular Cell Phone
1. Start by going to https://2fa.ndus.edu and login using your NDUS/VCSU username and password. 2. Below are the screens you will see during the enrollment process. Click on Start setup to begin. 3. Select the Mobile phone radio button and click Continue. 4. Enter your cell phone number, check the box to assure it is correct and click Continue. 5. Click on the Other radio button and click Continue. 6. You are now enrolled and can close your browser. If you want to see how it works click on Continue to Login. 7. Choose the appropriate method. If you would prefer to use passcodes instead of a phone call, please contact the VCSU Technology Services Desk.

Reactivate Duo - Device Portal
If you get a new smart phone and need to reactivate Duo push please follow these instructions. Make sure you have Duo Mobile reinstalled on your new smart phone. 1. Open a web browser on your computer (** Do NOT use your phone) and go to https://2fa.ndus.edu and login using your NDUS credentials. 2. You will also need to use Duo here, so for this one instance choose the Call Me option since Duo push will not work. When you answer the call press 5 to confirm. 3. Now click the Device Options button to the right of your smart phone device as shown below. 4. Then click on the Reactivate Duo Mobile button as shown below. 5. Select the smart phone type and click continue. This will work even if you switch from iOS to Android or vice versa. 6. Make sure you have Duo Mobile installed on your new smart phone and click I have Duo Mobile installed as shown below. 7. Open Duo Mobile on your smart phone and tap on the + symbol to bring up your smart phone camera and scan the QR code on your computer screen. 8. Duo will be reactivated and you can click continue on your computer to go back to the device management portal.

Duo - VCSU Email on iPhone Native Mail Application
Make sure you have backed up your contacts before doing this!! After Duo is activated, if your VCSU email on your iPhone native mail app stops working do the following to fix it. 1. Start by tapping on the settings icon on your iPhone. 2. Next scroll down and tap on the Passwords & Accounts section as shown below. 3. Tap on the account configured for VCSU Email as shown below. 4. Next tap on Delete Account as shown below and confirm the removal. 5. Now go back to the Passwords & Accounts section and tap Add Account. 6. To re-add the VCSU Email account tap on the Exchange icon as shown below. 7. Fill in the necessary information to complete the process.

When installing Duo Mobile, make sure you allow push notifications and access to the camera. Then scan the QR code with your tablet which will complete enrollment.

Installing the Duo App on a Mobile Device
How to install DUO app to your mobile device? On your phone, launch the App Store (for iOS devices) or Play Store (for Android devices) and search for Duo Mobile.
