Recovering Files in Teams / SharePoint
If you deleted files from a Files or SharePoint tab and you want them back, don’t despair. Just open the channel or tab where the files were and click Open in SharePoint. Once the SharePoint site opens, click Recycle bin from the left bar, and your deleted files should be right there. Then Select and Restore any/all files needed.

Before Getting Started with Teams / SharePoint

Basic file sharing tutorial using Teams / SharePoint
To share or post a file to a channel conversation, follow the steps below. Tip: Teams works particularly well with Microsoft Office documents. In your channel conversation, click Choose File beneath your compose box. Select a file, click Open, and then Send . You can always see all the files you post to a channel by going to the Files tab.

How to search for messages, people or files in Microsoft Teams
Searches cover your entire organization—all the teams and channels that you're part of. To search for a message, file or people, follow the steps below. Type a phrase in the command box at the top of the app and press Enter. Select the Messages, People, or Files tab. Select an item in the search results. Alternatively, you can click Filter to further refine your search results.

SharePoint Shortcut to Files
1. Start off by opening your Microsoft Teams. 2. Go in the teams app and find the team you want Synced up. 3. Once you have found that click on Open in SharePoint. 4. Once you open SharePoint it will bring you to your Team and show you your documents. 5. On the tool bar there is an option to sync it too your computer. 6. Click on it. 7. Click on File Explorer to open your files and on the left hand side it will show your teams files above This PC. 8. You can click on it and it will bring up the files you want.

How to allow new Microsoft Teams to screen share (MacOS)
1. Open System Preferences/System Settings: Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen and select "System Preferences" or "System Settings". 2. Navigate to Security & Privacy: In System Preferences, click on "Security & Privacy". It might also be called "Privacy & Security". 2a. If you had "System Preferences": Within the Security & Privacy window, select the "Privacy" tab. 3. Select Screen Recording: Find and select "Screen Recording." 3a. If you had "System Preferences": Scroll down on the left sidebar to find "Screen Recording" 3b. If you had "System Settings": The option will be in the right hand portion of the window. You may have to scroll down. It will be called "Screen & System Audio Recording". 4. Unlock the Settings: If the padlock icon in the bottom-left corner is locked, click on it and enter your administrator password to unlock the settings. 5. Add Microsoft Teams: Click the '+' (plus) button below the list of apps and a file dialog will appear. You may have to enter your password after clicking on the "+" icon. 6. Navigate to Microsoft Teams: Locate and select the "Microsoft Teams (Work or School)" application. It's located in the "Applications" folder. 7. Enable Screen Recording: Once Microsoft Teams is selected, check the checkbox next to it to grant it screen recording permissions. 8. Confirm Changes: You might be prompted to confirm the changes. If so, click the "Quit Now" or "Restart Now" button. Feel free to test our screen sharing in Teams to verify permissions have been set correctly. If you can see "Screen" and "Window", you have your permissions correct and can share your screen.
